COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES AT MAGGIE MOO'S

Maggie Moo's takes the safety of their customers and our employees very seriously.

​

We are taking all the precautions recommended by the CDC at the store to prevent the spread of the virus. These include, and not limited to:

​

1. PREVENTING THE SPREAD OF THE VIRUS TO OUR EMPLOYEES

  • All employees are required to wear masks.

  • Hand wash stations are stocked with soap and individual towels, or air-drying devices. 

  • Reminding employees that they must report signs and symptoms of illness. The Person-in-Charge asks about illness before employees begin working each day. Employees who are showing flu-like symptoms are excluded from the operation until symptom free.

  • Posting information about COVID-19 in work areas 

 

2. PREVENTING THE SPREAD OF THE VIRUS TO OUR CUSTOMERS

  • The store is open for TAKEOUT or CALL AHEAD ONLY. No more than 10 customers are allowed in the store at any time. 

  • Customers are required to wear masks at all times inside the store.

  • Handwash sinks in toilet rooms are stocked with soap and individual towels

  • Cleaning and disinfect surfaces and objects that are frequently touched (counters, doorknobs, toilets, phones, etc.). 

  • No food is touched by bare hands

  • Providing the customer with additional napkins to use when they cough or sneeze.

 

3. REMINDING OUR EMPLOYEES OF FOOD SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

    Hands must be washed:

  • After using the toilet room.

  • After coughing, sneezing, wiping nose, smoking, eating, or drinking.

  • After handling soiled equipment or utensils.

  • When changing food preparation tasks.

  • When switching between working with raw food and working with ready-to-eat food.

  • Before donning gloves to initiate a task that involves working with food.

  • After touching bare body parts.
